2026 Art Drop

As a Birthday Present to myself- I started the Art Drop in January 2026. The theme for this years collection is "Nostalgia". As a Millennial who has lived through the transition of Technology being integrated into every day life- I find myself daydreaming of simpler childhood moments. Check out Previous Designs below!

Y2K Bedroom +Classroom V-Day

To be honest, I was a little selfish. ;P My birthday is in January so- I started the Art Drop Mail club as a gift to myself and I wanted to start out with something that felt like a treat to myself. I really wanted to recreate my dream y2k bedroom. I was inspired by the bright colors, blow up furniture, and all of the boldness that comes with the early 2000's. I can still feel the lime green shag rug in between my toes while I listened to Britney Spears on the boombox. I hope it inspires you to think of what your dream room would be- even if a Lizzie McGuire color palette isn't involved.

Classroom Valentines Day

February was inspired by elementary school classroom celebrations. I always enjoyed picking out the most fitting card to give my classmates + loved seeing what favorite cartoon theme every one else had picked. There was something about eating sweet treats and going through what everyone had taken the time to pick for me. I wanted this illustration to reflect the elementary school vibe by leaning into bright colors with crayons and colored pencils.

Spending the Night at Granny's

This piece was heavily influenced by the safe feeling of sleeping over at my Granny's house. I remember the birds chirping on those early morning days- and the smell of coffee brewing in the kitchen. I can still hear the rain pecking against the window as the sun rose, eating my sugary bowl of cereal. I focused on blurred lines and soft muted tones to reflect the dreamy memory of my childhood. Now as an adult, I find myself recreating the same safe space for others in my own home.

Easter Egg Hunt

I know not all people celebrate Easter, but as a person who grew up in the South- Dying Eggs for the Easter egg hunt at church was a staple. I loved the little metal spoon that would always somehow hug every egg perfectly for a flawless dip and dye. It was a tradition to help my mother prepare food for the church potluck- which is why added the blueberry pie cooling in the window. (Because we all know you can't show up empty-handed on Easter Sunday) I also wanted to focus on the bright pastels that I associate with Easter, using neon acrylics and clean black outlines to truly make those colors pop.

Community Pool Party

This design was inspired by classmate pool parties that were always held at the public pool. Since the pool opens in May- it felt like the perfect memory to capture. I remember going with ten dollars and a gift- ready to spend the day in the sun. The concession stand was a great place to refuel and enjoy a few childhood staples. For me- I loved getting a slushie and nachos. A mixture of alcohol markers + acrylic paints were used to create a bold, bright summer vibe.

A Trip to the Carnival

One word- Summerween. This whimsical carnival scene was also inspired by my Dad. Growing up- he spared no expense when the carnival came to town during summer break. It was a magical place with bright lights and tasty fried foods, but there were some attractions that were a little spooky too. To celebrate passing down his love of Halloween to me, I created a Halloween carnival that magically appeared at the edge of a neighborhood- just for one night. This is a large piece I have been painting on canvas... it is 4 feet long to be exact. 36 hours of love has been poured into this- and that is why I want to get a little creative in sharing this print. this will be a 2 in 1 art print. When placed side by side + adhered, it will show the entire length of the painting so you don't miss a detail.

Backyard BBQ

I decided to focus on backyard BBQs and shooting leftover fireworks from the 4th. (Because we all know you have to keep a secret stash of firecrackers when you're feeling froggy.) I remember my dad lighting a pack of firecrackers and throwing it toward us! It was a simple time with good food and plenty of laughs. To capture the warmth of the sunset- I used markers and acrylic to make those colors pop and illuminate the night with brilliant explosions.

Back-to-School +Dolly Tribute

the inspo for August came to me when I was getting ready in the morning. I could not get the idea of back-to-school shopping out of my head. I loved putting on fashion shows with my mom and spending time getting ready in the morning. My mom taught me that a lady's 'me-time' before the day starts is sacred- and should not be rushed. I remember in Middle School when I was exploring the world of hair and makeup for the first time + taking those famous Cosmogirl Quizzes to discover my back-to-school style. These small moments shape who we are, so I wanted to take a moment to appreciate these transitional moments as we grow.

We also lost our beloved icon Dolly Parton this month- so I created a vanity that even Dolly would be jealous of by adding the bright colors, patterns, feather boas and butterfly clips as a nod to our queen.
